Paper SeedMat is a physical barrier system replacing agrochemicals for weed control. It offers high standards of food safety and benefits for producers, suppliers, consumers and for the environment.
The Paper SeedMat is proven in conventional farming for salad and vegetable production and makes large-scale production viable, where consumer demand exceeds the ability of leading growers to supply.
The Paper SeedMat provides a very positive image in an industry where the technology has often been portrayed as potentially harmful or controversial. The system replaces agrochemicals and is not dependent on genetic modification (GM).
The Paper SeedMat patented system and products are available for conventional farming, salad and vegetable production, for herb production and for the forestry industry.
HOW IT WORKS
Standard Paper SeedMat is supplied in three standard widths of 1 meter, 1,5 meters and 2 meters with either 12, 18 or 24 seed rows, up to a maximum roll length of 500 meters.
Precision Paper SeedMat allows the seeds to be accurately placed at the required row and in-row spacing.
Strips are used for specific applications and crops, such as carrots.
Paper SeedMat is also available for domestic garden use.
